Just Like Reese's Peanut Butter Candy

This recipe is so simple, my little 4 year old can make it. I actually think this tastes better than Reese's, but everything always tastes better homemade. The graham cracker is the unexpected ingredient that makes these so good. I prefer to use milk chocolate in this recipe, but if you are a dark chocolate lover, by all means use dark chocolate...my mother loves the dark chocolate. You don't even need to turn on the oven with this recipe, all you do is melt, mix, pour and then refrigerate. My family makes this during Christmas, but I have made it for all occasions, and people love them. This is a great sweet treat that you won't be able to stop eating.

Just Like Reese's Peanut Butter Candy

2 cubes butter or margarine, melted
1 pkg graham crackers, crushed
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. peanut butter, (I use smooth)
1 pkg. milk chocolate chips

Combine first 4 ingredients until completly incorporated. Spread mixture into an ungreased 9x13 pan. Melt chocolate and pour over peanut butter mixture, spreading evenly with a spatula. Cool completely and cut into squares. (I refrigerate them to speed up the cooling process.)

I'm so glad you posted this! Just last weekend at a yard sale, I bought the coolest silicon pan that is the shape of reece's cups. I wanted to try to make homemade cups! Thanks

I love these bars! Lana gave me the recipe a while ago and they are always a hit! I did them for my cookie exchange this last year at Christmas and got RAVE reviews! Plus it is SOO easy.

I hope you get this message since you posted this months ago. I couldn't find an e-mail for you. I just found your blog and am loving it!! I have 2 questions about this recipe. First, you said 2 cubes of butter...how much is that? Not sure if it is a Tablespoon or a stick or what. Also ,1 package of graham crackers. Is that just all the crackers wrapped in the plastic the whole box?
Thanks....I can't wait to get started on many of your recipes.

Judy! Thanks for following. I'm still working on posting a link so that people can email me. My email address is: rachelleunderwood@hotmail.com

Please feel free to email me anytime!

To answer your questions, the recipe calls for 2 sticks of butter which is 1 cup total. You use one package of graham crackers in the plastic wrap, not the whole box.

So glad you are enjoying the recipes, I'm delighted!
